The mission of NDAD is to enhance the quality of lives of individuals facing health challenges.

Charitable nonprofit NDAD — the North Dakota Association for the Disabled — was founded 50 years ago by concerned citizens for the purpose of assisting people with disabilities and health challenges in the state of North Dakota, many of whom were ineligible for services from other agencies. NDAD’s reach also includes border communities in surrounding states. NDAD offers direct financial assistance, health care equipment loans, adaptive recreation resources, and information, referral and advocacy services.

NDAD Supports Inclusive Outdoor Recreation at North Dakota Autism Center

North Dakota Association for the Disabled (NDAD) has awarded a $5,000 Adaptive Recreation Grant to the North Dakota Autism Center in support of its Outdoor Recreation Enhancements project. The grant will help expand inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals participating in the organization’s Day Habilitation program by providing adaptive equipment designed to meet a wide range of physical and sensory needs.
