The mission of NDAD is to enhance the quality of lives of individuals facing health challenges.

Charitable nonprofit NDAD — the North Dakota Association for the Disabled — was founded 50 years ago by concerned citizens for the purpose of assisting people with disabilities and health challenges in the state of North Dakota, many of whom were ineligible for services from other agencies. NDAD’s reach also includes border communities in surrounding states. NDAD offers direct financial assistance, health care equipment loans, adaptive recreation resources, and information, referral and advocacy services.

Building Confidence and Independence Through Inclusive Cooking with Live Well Grand Cities

NDAD is proud to support Live Well Grand Cities with a $4,750 Gibbens Memorial Grant to expand inclusive cooking education through adaptive tools and visual learning resources. The program will provide hands-on cooking sessions and develop accessible recipes to help individuals of all abilities build confidence in the kitchen.
