The mission of NDAD is to enhance the quality of lives of individuals facing health challenges.

Charitable nonprofit NDAD — the North Dakota Association for the Disabled — was founded 50 years ago by concerned citizens for the purpose of assisting people with disabilities and health challenges in the state of North Dakota, many of whom were ineligible for services from other agencies. NDAD’s reach also includes border communities in surrounding states. NDAD offers direct financial assistance, health care equipment loans, adaptive recreation resources, and information, referral and advocacy services.

Building Connection, Access and Lasting Support Across North Dakota with Together in Motion

Together in Motion: Amputee Support Network has been awarded a $5,000 NDAD Gibbens Memorial Grant to advance its Peer Support & Mobility Access Initiative—an effort designed to strengthen connection, independence, and access for individuals impacted by limb loss across North Dakota.
