NDAD, under contract with Northwest Human Service Center, provides short term crisis stabilization for persons with a serious mental illness and or chemical dependency issues who live independently and are experiencing relapse symptoms that do not require hospitalization or need additional stabilization time following a hospitalization. The client is able to stay in a safe, supportive environment where basic needs are met. |

Transitional Residential |

NDAD under contract with Northwest Human Service Center provides longer term housing for persons with a serious mental illness and or chemical dependency issues. Clients are able to stay in a safe, supportive environment where basic needs are met. |

NDAD Supportive Housing |
 |
 |
NDAD provides housing and supportive services to people who are homeless with chronic substance abuse disorders. Supportive Housing is defined as permanent housing in which social supports and community resources are available so that people who have been homeless or been in institutional care can get the help they need to live independently. |

Missouri View Heights |

Missouri View Heights (MVH) is a HUD 811 funded 8-plex for persons with serious mental illness who are in need of supportive services. This project is a joint effort between Community Action Partnership, Northwest Human Service Center and NDAD. NDAD, under contract with Northwest Human Service Center, provides supportive services to the residents at Missouri View Heights. |

Hearth House |

NDAD provides support staff for Hearth House. Hearth House is a Therapeutic Community which provides the opportunity for individuals with chronic substance abuse disorders to develop a manageable lifestyle and to explore a recovering lifestyle. Clients at Hearth House must be at least 18 years of age, with a primary substance dependence diagnosis, who are experiencing repeated relapse episodes and are unable to maintain long-term sobriety. Hearth House provides a long-term, clean and sober, residential setting for men and women with chronic substance dependency problems. It provides an atmosphere that promotes self-sufficiency and maintains support for individuals seeking recovery. Hearth House allows those whom have participated in multiple treatments, to have a period of transition and help them in returning to the community while promoting a healthier lifestyle. |

Independent Living & Medication Monitoring |

The NDAD Independent Living program and Medication Monitoring is for seriously mentally ill or dually diagnosed (mentally ill and chemically dependent) clients. This program is contracted to Citizen Assistance Programs (CAP). |

Independent Living - Independent Living Counselors work with clients in their homes to provide training for Independent Living Skills. Training in areas of personal hygiene, problem solving (systematically attack a problem and arrive at a solution), stress management, socialization, interpersonal relationships, house and apartment hunting, transportation for errands and appointments, cooking, cleaning, advocacy and referral are offered, among others. This program is contracted to Citizen Assistance Programs (CAP).
Medication Monitoring - This program brings medication to the client seven days a week. This is for clients who are court ordered, not willing to take, or forget to take their medications. This program is contracted to Citizen Assistance Programs (CAP).
